Montepulciano

montepulciano

Montepulciano is a town in the province of Siena located on a about 600 meters hill from which it dominates the Chiana valley. The core of the town is Piazza Grande, a beautiful square surrounded by beautiful buildings such as the town hall (XIV century), the Palazzo Nobili, Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo. In the square there is also the majestic cathedral that houses works of art like the Madonna and Child by Sano di Pietro.

In the countryside around Montepulciano it has created a route dedicated to Vino Nobile that leads tourists to discover vineyards, pristine landscapes, and above all where the tasting of the famous wine is done.
