The best period for cycling tourism is from March to June, and from September to November. You will be dropped into the countryside fragrances, from the dew on the cut wheat to the picked hay in sheaf’s. actually, Tuscany is fantastic all over the year for bike lovers.

Our soft smooth hills attract plenty of bicycling fans every year, and in whichever route you to take it will be very easy to meet other bikers and get immediately in touch with them, in this amazing, non-virtual and with no borders community.  You will always find someone saying hello from the other side of the street with a smile or a wave of the hand, helping you in case of need, because of a flat tyre or broken chain.

You can also ride a bike into the historical center. According to the city Council web site, a free circulation is possible the limited traffic area (excluding Piazza del Campo and same streets around), following the direction of motion and with low speed (10 km/h) for the safe of pedestrians and other bikers. There is a map which can be helpful to understand if we are circulating in a forbidden area
